Brand language surrounds people constantly in our everyday lives. This project focuses on collaboration with other students in both industrial design and graphic design. The industrial design students focused on creating a cohesive product line that rebranded the brand Energizer. Each student created a product that can be used in the patio of a home of a user that consciously purchases sustainable energy sources. Bridget developed a solar umbrella that is attached to a bluetooth speaker base and is able to rotate towards the heat source to maximize the absorption of solar energy. Besides the solar energy powering the bluetooth speaker and light the umbrella charges four battery packs that can be removed from the structure and utilized as portable chargers with USB and outlets port. The umbrella encourages people that use technology frequently and bringing them outdoors.
