About the product
During her internship for Kichler in 2019, Bridget focused on designing art deco light fixtures. She spent time learning about the art deco time period and gaining influences from the period. Bridget also looked into what inspired the period itself, one of those being Egyptian architecture, including the Egyptian columns. In focusing on creating a custom glass juxtaposed by a clean and geometric back plate and cup Bridget developed the design of Ciona. It started with research and a sketch followed by 2D and 3D renderings that developed into the light fixture that is out today. Check out the design process and see the final result below!
