After working for Kichler Lighting as a summer industrial design intern in 2019 Bridget found a new passion for the expression and form exploration found in designing lighting fixtures. After her time there she began to expand her portfolio in her free time with lighting design pieces and all of those designs can be seen below.
Tower City.
Inspired by the Art Deco movement and seeing an upcoming trend in the market Bridget designed this 5-light chandelier in a modern black matter finish. Specifically photos of a streamlined Art Deco building in New York. The photo of which can be seen below with Bridget's design.
Mondrian.
While exploring the Art Deco period and seeing it in upcoming interior trends Bridget developed a series of bath vanity lights that were inspired by Pete Mondrian, painter of part of the Dutch De Stijl movement. This bathroom vanity light tries to bring modern straight edges in a playful but elegant bathroom setting. The inspiration can also be seen below.
